Freddie took a breath, held it for a minute, and let it out, the heat fogging up the window. He didn’t really know what was wrong, but he knew there was something, and Sam refused to enlighten him.
There hadn’t been any fighting. There hadn’t been any tears, any anger.
But there hadn’t been…
Sam knew something was wrong. She wasn’t necessarily trying to make things so awkward, but she couldn’t help it. It was as if the past few months hadn’t happened, and she and Freddie weren’t happy together. Though, it wasn’t like they weren’t happy together, they were just distant.
Sam—wanting to get to the bottom of the problem and fix it—found herself going to the fire escape. She knew it was somewhere Freddie liked to go for a bit of solace, and she didn’t blame him. There was something about it, she’d realized, and was a bit jealous that he had already taken it over.
Just as Sam had suspected, the fire escape was already occupied, by none other than Freddie.
“Hey,” Sam murmured.
Freddie whipped around when he heard Sam’s voice. He guessed he should have suspected she would find him. Maybe he wanted her to.
“Hey.” He replied. It was awkward. He wished things would stop being awkward. He kicked out the chair beside him, offering her a seat.
“So…” He didn’t know what to say. Sam had always been better at bluntness and getting down to the bottom of issues. Although, at the same time she wasn’t very good at talking through what she was feeling. A matter he was fighting through now.
“I think we need to talk about this.” He silently pleaded that she wouldn’t pretend not to know what he was implying.
@isamlovesham To old and new
Freddie took a breath, held it for a minute, and let it out, the heat fogging up the window. He didn’t really know what was wrong, but he knew there was something, and Sam refused to enlighten him.
There hadn’t been any fighting. There hadn’t been any tears, any anger.
But there hadn’t been any laughs in a while, either.
He couldn’t get out of his head what Carly had mentioned last week, offhandedly.
‘You two are both so different. How do you even make it work?’
He never really doubted it, until she brought it up. And he knew Sam was doubting it as well.
How did they make it work? Was it really even, dare he say, worth it?
Ever since Carly asked that, they sort of lost their comfort around each other. Lost their rhythm.
Freddie was afraid they wouldn’t be able to get through this one.
He almost wished for the arguments.

By the way, sorry our rp has been faltering, we had some trouble with our characters and the direction we want to take them. But we hope we have it down now!
It also helps to have you guys to interact with, so send in questions for us!
Got a question?
My ask box is pretty empty. I’d love it if you all could distract me from my life right now…
I honestly don’t know what to do.
Oh, poor Spencer. He tries so hard.
And when he finally opened the second safe, all there was was a toothbrush…
Umm…
Sorry I haven’t been on in a while… I’m honestly not sure what’s happening right now…
I guess we’re sorting out some things.
I’m… I’m just going to do Calculus. At least that makes sense.

I’m baaaaaaaaaaack! Yakima was just as I expected: boring. Even Carly agreed that it wasn’t the best trip we’d ever been on. And, as fun as vacation is, I’m so glad to be back! Because I missed my nub.
But, now I have to go back to school. So, you guys should leave me some questions that I can answer on my pearphone when I get bored. If Carly and Freddie let me.
I’m so glad you’re back! Groovy Smoothie after school? I want to hear all about your trip.

Haha um… how about I’ll pick a few?
9. First career you wanted as a child?
This might sound crazy, but when I was six years old, I wanted to be a chef. My mom used to have me help her when she cooked family dinners, and I’ve always had a great appreciation for fancy meals.
Well, maybe not as great an appreciation as Sam does…
22. Left or right handed?
I can actually write with both hands, although I prefer the right.
25. Halloween costume idea for this year?
Sam wants me to go as the vampire from that iCarly skit. I’m not entirely opposed to that…
She won’t admit it, but I think she thinks it’s kind of hot.

14. Do you believe in fate/destiny?
Well, quantum mechanics proves our decisions have already been made. It is psychological fact that the human mind continues to develop all throughout a person’s life.
But in the metaphorical sense of the word, I’d like to think that I make my own decisions, and there is no worldly power that forces me to eat cereal in the morning or go to bed at 11 every night.
Well, besides my mom…
